The Hour of Code is an event that helps begin the training one might need in order to learn computer coding. A large percentage of newly created and current jobs involve some sort of computer coding. Coding is learning about the specific language your computer 'talks in' or 'runs on'. For example, this current page runs off several different computer code 'languages'. One of them is called 'HTML'. In fact, if you 'right click' your mouse anywhere on this page a little window will open. Go to the bottom and you will see a command saying 'view page source' (or something like that). When you click it, you will allow you to see the code that is running in the background of this page. Pretty cool! The Hour of Code allows you to start this journey into learning code with simple games and activities.
